I did W6R1 this morning and it came as a bit of a surprise as to how challenging it was. I guess after the last run of week 5 it feels like it should be a bit of a lighter touch. It's definitely not and my overall distance ( with the interval walks) covered was much further. It is the longest I've been out and felt like a real stretch. This is not a complaint, it is what Im doing this programme for after all.

However, I wanted to report back to anyone about to attempt this run that it is just as challenging (and rewarding) as any other new week run. Bring on W6R2!!!
