Was on the point of giving up .....

After several days in the US and not getting along with treadmill running.....and with a surgical procedure which will leave me immobile for a week or two coming up I had half-decided to press the pause button.

Then jet-lag kicked in...wide awake, I heard the birds tweeting at 4.30 and I thought about how much work I'd already done, and thought about all the posts on here where people have overcome so much more ... so out the of bed I got and off to the all-weather pitch on a beautiful Yorkshire morning. And I only went and jogged for the full 30 minutes for the first time!!!!

Not fast, and not far, and I was ecstatic to hear Laura say I could start the cool-down walk.....but 30 minutes!!!!

Celebrating with a cup of tea.

Have a great day everyone. :-)

Great stuff! Never Quit! You can always take a breather and press on. No hurry 🙂
