An aldis!!! 1st 5k ...!!!

Well 1st post graduation run😊On hols in Edinburgh & my son came out running with me... poor soul had a slow run...anywAy he really encouraged me to keep going & beleive in myself.. i was aiming 4 k he said mum you can do it !!!😊😊 & it wS hard but i did my first 5k😀😀😀 so chuffed tome 44.33 mins but more than happy with that!! Next aim in the 30mins but no rush!! Feeling fantastic so chuffed & made extra special with running with my son whi started running i. Feb & complete a half marathon in September! My new aldi outfit on 😂😂and see the Pentland hllls in the background didn't manage to run then oldfloss & irish john! 😊😊 .... onwards & upwards keep running & posting everyone! You all got me here!🏃🏃🏃😊😊sorry photo sideways nae good at technology😂😂x

Good for you!!! After week 5 I treated myself to a fluorescent orange running jacket for the dark mornings. Must admit I felt VERY self conscious in it the first couple of runs, but happily am used to it now! 😊😊😊

Well done on completing your very first 5k!! You should quite rightly feel really proud of yourself, and so nice to do it alongside your son in a lovely setting as well. That's excellent, and I'm not jealous in anyway...whatsover...at all! x

That's fantastic, what a lovely son you have... I started C25k with my son, and occasionally he runs with me now but he is so much faster!!! Well done!
