Poppyrun

I have just seen that there are poppy runs being run on Sunday 6th November in support of the British legion. There are 8 locations in the UK and finishers get a medal. Sounds like fun family events in similar format to parkrun. I will be standing with my children cheering their dad on whilst secretly wishing I could run for some bling!

Why not join in? You can walk it, or run/walk it'. Kids too if they're not old enough to to watch alone

I have a 7 yr old who can do 1.5 to 2 miles cross country so she would do it as a walk/run. But I have 6 yr old twins who would struggle after 1 mile. Unless hubs could finish and then come round and take the twins from me so my daughter and I could carry on.......will think on it!

Sounds like a plan to me 😉

The little ones can walk it (and only £1for them), sure they'd love being cheered over the finish 😃

I've just signed up to do a virtual Poppy Run, that's another option you could consider? And you get a t-shirt and a medal that looks like a poppy :-)
