Was really concerned that the extra 30 seconds would be enough to scupper my dream of the next olympics but surprisingly I didnt find it too tough ...certainly knackered at the end but gotta expect that huh :-) ....

Can I ask what is the advice on your breathing ?

Just breathe normally. Do it without thinking. If you are going slow enough it shouldn't be an issue

Have fun ☺

Well done, you are not giving up:) As for breathing , it's a good idea to do it, not so good an idea to fixate on it and put extra pressure on yourself. :) I still have and gasp my way around - but I have and gasp much more wonderfully nowadays :) A time will come when you get so used to running you will be able to focus on the finesse techniques but I would not worry about anything right now except building up your stamina. Lung capacity and efficiency will increase accordingly -its all integral in the programme. Well done again on "keeping on keeping on" :)

Laura told us to breathe in for four steps and out for four steps. When I tried that I nearly expired. As soon as I think about breathing I can't do it! I just do what comes naturally, and all in and out through the mouth. I've got a whopping great hooter, but I just don't seem to be able to get enough air in that way!
