Taking my time, but it's worth it!

W6R3 (probably week 9 in elapsed time), and I've done my first ever 25 minute run! Solo, because my running buddy and lovely husband is on the injury couch with Achiilles problems. Finally, I'm starting to enjoy running - I've always felt pleased after the event but struggled with the run itself. It's still not easy, but a slight shift in mood/mindset and I'm able to feel the stretch in my muscles and heavier breathing as my path to greater strength and stamina . Feels like a bit of a watershed moment :-)

That's brilliant! I also run with my lovely husband and would really miss the support. I start week 6 tomorrow. Good you are enjoying your running. It's odd but even if I have. had a struggle on a run as soon as it's finished I'm itching to get back out running again! 😃😃
