Week 5 run 3... Second time success!

After a horrific first try of W5R3 with shin splints, i rested for 4 days and went out again today and completed it!!! The relief of doing it was incredible and i ran at a decent pace until the final minute and a bit after Laura said '2 minutes to go'.

So chuffed!

Go nice and steady. Shin splints are terrible so go very steady.

Well done! Keep an eye on those shins though and keep things nice and steady, like Miss W says

Well done you! I got shin splints early on too, found a mixture of wearing compression socks and sometimes shin supports made a difference, also someone wrapping my leg up tightly and leaving it there for about 5 minutes shifted it eventually! Flipping painful though, aren't they!
