Let's have some recommendations for gremlin-busting tunes to get ourselves up and out on dark November days. Give me your favourites. Here's this week's bit of brassy joy from me...
Music to fight the winter running-apathy... - Couch to 5K
Music to fight the winter running-apathy...
Insomnia by Faithless. Love it and always gets me jumping around like a loon pretending I'm young again ☺
At the moment for me it's Rita Ora - Shine Ya Light. Very uplifting and the lyrics make you feel like a champ😀. Try it!
"Fireball" by Pitbull , love it ! xxx
"Walking on Sunshine" Katrina and the Waves - never fails me
Some great ideas here
"This week I have mostly been running to Pete and the Pirates Come on Feet"

Most apt lyrics:
And don't fail me now,
Get off the ground,
It's not as far to go,
You can take me home.
I like the remastered version of stone roses "resurrection"
I'd post a link but can't. Soz 😊
I rejigged my playlist this week and somehow ended up with The Smiths 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me' whilst I was running yesterday. Much as I love a bit of Morrissey - this is definitely NOT a good running track
First aid kit -Silver Lining. Great lyrics about not taking the easy road and "gotta keep on keeping on".
Got Kasabian Fire on my iPod - it's a good 'un. Now not necessarily all my cup of tea but a few that really get me motivated are: Taylor Swift - Shake it off, Foo Fighters - The Pretender, Felix - don't you want me, Benny Bennasi - Satisfaction. Really recommend Emigrate - eat you alive. All of these are great to run to imo.
'Freak Out!'
'A whole lot of Rosie'
'Insomnia'
Quite a few Coldplay songs as well (well, it is winter, after all!!).
Whole lotta Rosie is just THE best! Come on!
Love these suggestions! Well done folk x
