Anybody have any suggestions I went for a run last night on my walk cool down I noticed a strange pain back of the upper inner thigh right at the top it's like axpulling sensation. I do suffer with sciatica but that's in the other hip / leg.

Can anybody help x

Hi Jennie,

Sorry to hear that you've developed a strange pain. Not sure that I can help other than to recommend Rest/Ice/Compression/Elevation. From your description it could be anything from a minor pulled muscle to a stress fracture of the femoral neck. Is it worse in the morning when you get up, or does it feel OK first thing in the morning, and get worse the longer you are on it?

I only did it last night it was slightly uncomfortable in bed its ok when I'm sat down but when I walk it starts to pull at the back of my leg right at the top sort of on your underwear line if that makes sense

Hi Jennie, have you tried this website ,it might help you to pinpoint what it is, but please don't go scaring yourself half to death , it could be just a pull or slight strain.

Rest it for a bit, and if it continues , maybe worth paying your doc a visit ? It might be something that just goes away with resting .
