Merci, M. Le Facteur...
And no work was done that day either - Couch to 5K
And no work was done that day either
Are you back on the IC? I've been away and have missed all the news.
No, currently scampering merrily about.
Except this afternoon. This afternoon I am on my own couch watching DVDs of Kilian Jornet running over mountains.
What's going on? PP's on the couch with her pug, Rig's on the couch watching a DVD.... Harrumph. I'm off to get some work done. Once I've checked out that film on Tinternet.
Ah its a new law in the UK Mfam.
Siesta Maxin' n' Relaxin' time on a Thursday afternoon 'twixt the hours of 15.00 and 16.00 pm xxx
I have gone one further and made beef, elk and wildboar meatballs with wild mushrooms and am planning an evening of pasta and meatballs, possibly even a glass of ale, and not running anywhere at all. Dog has been walked and is in agreement with my plan.
I think he has some books out. Might get those when I've read My Mutual Friend. Mind you I think that's thicker than the Next catalogue, so it could take a while. Love a good running book, or film. Will deffo check that one out
I have walked dogs but still have one more trip out to do before beddy bies. I've cooked a lamb and puy lentil casserole using all me own veggies. So proud! LOL
I have his book. Run or Die. It isn't the greatest running book i have read tbh. Quite philosphical in parts but jumps around rather.
Well, I can highly recommend both films. Stunning cinematography and views, as you might imagine as Kilian shatters speed records on the Matterhorn (2hours 52 minutes!!!) and Mont Blanc inter alia. Although a moment of sudden and shocking perspective: while crossing a crest after the Mont Blanc piste, his expedition partner slips and falls 600m...
Oh , that's a proper cliff hanger Rig.............
Hope you enjoyed your afternoon on the sofa with the dog
Anything planned for today ? xxx
