Wk5 r2...done!

It's done, it's done...and it was even semi enjoyable! I thought Laura was taking the Mickey out of me when she said I was half way through the first 8 mins, I was waiting for the 'no, only joking, you've got another 6 to go really.' But it didn't come! So chuffed that I've made it this far, thank you to everyone that has lent their support. Roll on Friday for r3, we will be travelling that day, so already planning when I can do my run...in a previous reality I would have just said 'oh well, I'll skip that one' - but not now, no way. Can't let Laura down now can I? She'll be expecting me!!

Of course you can't let her down. More importantly you can't let yourself down!

I know, just when you think it's all over she announces that you're nearly half way!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!, you exclaim! Poor Laura doesn't half get shouted out a lot. She has sloping shoulders though and can take it, bless her.

Of course you've made it safely thus far. Carry on steadily, carefully, slowly and always do the warm up walks, cool downs, post run stretches and have that all-important rest day. Then all will be hunky dory. Don't be tempted to cut corners or go too fast

Week 6 is a bit different but you'll be ready for it if you've prepared well. Hydration, rest, good food. Good luck!

Well done Reidy! Can't believe we're over half way through the programme (14 runs done - 13 to go). We're planning to do our W5R3 on Friday too, so will be sending lots of positive vibes your way...20 mins no walking, I think slow and steady gets you there!

Well done! It's a great feeling, isn't it!! You've caught the ilovetorun bug, you should be careful lol it can get serious 😀

Good luck with week5run3 - you can do it! Like others say slow and steady and just believe in yourself! 😀
