Well I didn't do it yesterday because it was raining and I was a wuss.

I set my alarm to get up at 7:30 this morning...but it didn't go off and I woke up at 9:45!

So off I went. "Map my run" didn't save it. When i tried to take my phone out of the new arm running holder thing, I pressed something and the C25K app said I hadn't done it so I had to sort that out manually lol. I had a longer warm down walk as a new route is actually taking me 4.02km - but I have found another one which is slightly down hill at the beginning and is just a tad over 5K so as the running builds I will switch to that one :)

BUT - I did do it - my mantra served me well - I hope it does on Monday when I do the first 20 mins run - Ive been taking it nice and steady and remembering all of the sage advice everyone has given me on here and it is seeing me through!

Now for FOOD :D

Well done melly. Had to laugh when you said you slept in until 945. Sounds like me! What's your mantra? It sounds as if it helped to get you through.

Good luck for tomorrow. You'll be absolutely fine. Just enjoy that feeling afterwards. It's awesome.


Mantra is "strong arms, strong legs" and "I can do this"

I would be lost without the alarm on my phone - without it I am a real dormouse ;) zzzzzzzzzzzz
