Week 9 or 15!

I have made it week 9 run 1 today. Taken longer for various reasons but I am still amazed at myself. I am 53 and never ever thought I could run or least jog. So nearly there

Well done to you Katlyn, it's an amazing sense of achievement. I'm aiming to be like you in a few weeks time - although I have the added pressure that I did a half marathon 15 years ago. It's great when you get to the point where you can enjoy the scenery and worry less about your breathing or aching legs. Keep going - we will do it!!!

I finished C25k as a 56 year old, having never run before. 57 now and never felt better, well apart from a few niggles from having run too hard, but undaunted I'm back out there NOW in fact. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Can't wait

It gets addictive though so be warned. You'll have your nose pressed against shop windows drooling over running shoes next. Ha ha

I find myself wanting to break into runs on si,ple walls now!
