I've been downloading the podcasts onto my android mobile phone. When I chose weeks 1 - 4 I was given the option to save but with week 5 I'm not getting that option. The podcast just starts to play but stops after about 15 seconds.

Hard to say what is the problem. It might be easier to download the podcasts on your computer and transfer them to your phone from there. Good luck!
