Countdown is progressing...

So, tonight I'm going to a first session of Learn to Run beginners course at a local running club. There are 15 of us newbies & I have to say, I am bricking it. I have a sneaking suspicion they will be following the Couch to 5k running plan so hopefully I will do OK to start with but it feels a bit like my first day at a new school. Keeping fingers crossed I don't fall flat on my face!

I am sure you will be fine. You are not a complete beginner and the course will not be overly difficult to begin with.

Are you doing this alongside c25k (you posted a while ago that you were on week 5) or instead of it?

Thanks. Im going to carry onwith c25k as now starting week 6 & don't want to lose momentum. Im hoping I'll pick up some techniques tips & that the course will give me the confidence to push myself a bit more. Not long now!

I went along to my local running club's C25K group last October. I had been running for a while on my own but I really enjoyed the structure and the company. The jog leader was very good and took each run at a pace which suited everybody.

Everyone will be in the same position tonight so try to enjoy it!!
