Hi all, hope your runs are going great....Well I did it. I changed my route to a hillier route and my calf's are burning. looking forward to starting week three. Still waiting for the addiction to kick in. Just think I have a bit too much on my mind to enjoy it at the moment. My dog was brilliant today I barely had to tell her anything. She's sleeping now! Lucky me... I'm getting ready to go to work. Hate shifts!
Have a good day

You are very brave adding in hills on wk2 r3. Most of us wait to long after graduation for that. I would watch your muscles with hills as they can be a bit harsh for beginners muscles, just make sure you definitely slow down until you get used to them. The addiction comes at you from behind and one day you will find yourself saying something you never thought would come out of your mouth. Good luck
Thank you. I definitely slow on the hill. The problem is the other route is a bit dangerous as it's a country lane with lots of blind bends. so after a few issues I decided to go the opposite direction. My calf's do ache more but at least I only have to cross 1 road and have no traffic to worry about.
