Concerned about painting , and how it might effect my breathing. ?
Just make sure there's plenty of air in the room
Dear ryrymolly10
I would be very careful about paint 🎨
The paint industry has come a long way since ‘Lead Paint’ but be aware you can still get lead poisoning from items painted with it after all these years.
Modern paints, although maybe not a lethal, may have some nasty surprises hidden away 😳
Check what’s in the paint and what happens as it dries.
This is just one link, apologies it’s the daily mail, but the first one of many to pop up.

i painted our deck and railing both front and back yard, ended up with acute resp failure and spent 4 days in hospital. hope this helps, be careful.
If you must paint, open all the windows and buy the best mask you can find.
What are you painting, most indoor paint now has reduced stuff that makes it smell, we painted bedrooms last year and I had no problems, I have stage 4 COPD, and I did lots of the painting, had a fan in window blowing out though.
I am building a new house and have Stage 4. I use products paint and varnish from a company called ECOS. So far I've had zero effects. A bit more expensive but so worth it.
