need more information, are you on oxygen 24/7?
90% is usually the lowest you want to be.
No 88 is too low. Are you on oxygen? If so you need to get your level up to at least 90 or 91.

That used to be the norm for me without oxygen and before ever being diagnosed with COPD I would be in the hospital for a processor and I would have to breath hard a few times to get up to 95 so they could move forward but that was before and five or six years ago , now on oxygen 24/7 @ 6 lpm yeah that is a lot u have to be careful cause changes happen fast , I had no problem at 88 or 89 but that changes as COPD gets worst I didn't want to use oxygen when I should have listened ,caused it to get worst make sure u stay on top of it ,

Hang in there Hon. I know it is hard. Mine at times will drop into the 80's as well but I feel okay. Sounds like you're doing what you need to do. Take care...
88% is too low, that is when you are in danger of going into hypoxia, which means your body could start shutting down for lack of oxygen. If you are on oxygen you may need to turn it up a little but let you doctor know you did this and why you did it.
88 is too low..you need to tell your doctor
I was told by my doctor you don't get put on oxygen until u get to 88 then you get put on it
