hi im new to this had my surgery june 2017 i have both stomas bowel and bladder i dont really know wat the correct wording is :) but hi

Hi miss julie, I am a relative newcomer to colostomy world. I had an emergency colostomy in November 2016. I am now coping well. So feel I will help if I can. You seem a very brave lady and wish you well X

hi there thanks for the reply,... u have no choice to be brave :) have 4 children.. they keep me strong.. i have both stomas bowel and bladder.. im coping ok too.. not really out in the " real world" yet!! just bit of shopping and visiting family.. still recovering.. i also had a full hysterectomy and both tubes from kidney removed too.. but the main thing the cancer was cured.. i shud think so too iv no organs left haha.. if u dont smile u will only cry :) xx

Good morning miss Julia 69, my favourite saying is "Iam not going to die! They are just taking me away in little pieces. ". You seem much younger than me so hope, you make a good recovery and can. Start living again

Hi everyone, just joined today. I had my stoma also June 2017 due to surgery for ovarian cancer, now I have finished my chemo I would like to start getting out and about but feel quite nervous as mine seems to be quite a high output colostomy.
