Hi I have a cecostomy and need to irrigate my bowels at least four times a week . I used to get equipment sent to me when I was under paediatric specialists but now I'm an adult this has stopped. I've been to my GP and she can't seem to order any I really need this equipment or I'll end up in hospital I don't know what to do now or who to speak to any advice would be amazing . Thank you.

Hello, I used to use Coloplast bowel irrigation equipment and I got it on prescription, but originally from the colon nurse at St. Marks Hospital, Harrow, Middx. I was receiving treatment from there for a while. It is a specialist hospital and I hope they may be able to help you.

Hi

I am having just the exact same problem, luckily I teach pilates and one of my ladies is an incontinence nurse! Very lucky as I just call her and she sorts it all out. I've asked her and She contacts the stoma care team and they can get it. hope that helps or you are sorted already!L I'm getting mine tomorrow so all new for me"!!
