I am freaked out! Mucus and blood in stool and as well as just BM with just mucus and strands of blood

Hi Desipinkston,

Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I'm sorry you are having to deal with these symptoms. First of all, you are experiencing signs and your focus and efforts have to point at getting answers. There are many things that could be causing what you are seeing. We need to get answers and narrow down the causes. These symptoms definitely need answers and that needs to be the focus. You need to see your doctor who will take you through some tests to narrow the focus of what's going on. You may be required to get a colonoscopy to get a good view of what's causing these symptoms. Right now, there are so many things that could be causing it.

Please focus on getting things checked out by a doctor and getting some answers. Please don't be freaking out and put all your efforts in getting those answers. Also, you are young. You have that going for you as a positive.
