I love new balance running trainers. So do you have skinny or wide feet? Various family members of mine have CMT and we all find different things comfortable. I have skinny feet with lots of muscle wastage. Karrimor walking sandals are my fave for summer. Good luck -its even harder not being able to try on before we buy.

Hi Kyia

I have wide big feet with high arches, I have orthotics in my trainers which help, but want a change. I have looked at the balance ones and wonder if the rocker looking type ones would be good for me, I wear trainers all the time. I would also like to find out if my orthotics can go in the balance trainers

I can only wear new balance and they have to be leather. If I put on any other shoe that are soft breathable etc. I am crippled by the time i reach my mail box and can barely get back to the house. I haven't found a sandle i can wear yet how i miss wearing them.

I've just discovered what will be a game changer (for me at least) Salomon do very light, very flexible walking boots that have the base of a training/running shoe. I spent 2 hours researching on their website and will be ordering some soon.

I'm not sure if New Balance are all narrow but the ones I have are. It might be worth asking them on twitter. They tend to respond within a few hours :)

The trainers I wear are Adidas Stan Smith tennis shoes with velcro fasteners. For shoes I've purchased from a company called Sandpiper, It's worth a look.

you might find them hard tto come by now but Nike Huarache ultras are comfy and i find support my feet quite well. think huaraches mind be end of line now though, so i may have to try asics or NB
