Hi my mum has ptsd due to witnessing someone getting stabbed to death infront of her , she's not been the same since , she's scared to leave the house, I have to go up to see her every day to make her wash and eat ,I need to give her her tablets as she tried to take her life last year, she gets pip but she has a assessment next week and it's made her even worse as she's terrified to see people, can someone give me some advice please, thanks

Hi Jaxter

So sorry to hear your mam is unwell,if your appointment for pip is due,ask for a home visit instead of taking her to the social services, they can access her from home, and see how she is and trying to cope with such a bad experience,it must be worrying for you, good luck.

Thanks very much for your advice, I will contact them and ask if she can get a home visit as she's terrified to leave the house, thanks again x
