Hi everyone,

I'm Jackie , I'm a 50 something sufferer of chronic pain thanks to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I try to look on the positive side of life and love a good giggle. I also have chronic depression and anxiety but I think that is common with long term illness. I look forward to chatting to people.

Hi, Jackie. Yes, we never have just one condition that affects us (and all around us!) and we carry on battling away day-in day-out. After reading a couple of scientific papers I sourced on the internet regarding Fibromyalgia I've started bathing 3 times weekly in hot baths with 2 cups of Magnesium Sulphate ( Epsom Salts ) and have noticed an improvement in my mobility, muscle and skin tone all in just two weeks. I've no idea how this treatment would affect the differing Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome sufferer. Perhaps it is worth checking out? Also, for a friend I sourced this material on the six Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome types - it is a helpful resource intended for medical professionals really, but do visit this site and just take your time reading this material - medscape.com/viewarticle/86... - all the best, Jackie. Take Care x
