Pemgarda

I will be receiving Pemgarda on July 8th. From what I've read about others who have received it, there hasn't been any reactions (which is good to hear).

One question. Since I am taking Calquence, would anyone know if I should stop prior? I will obviously ask my doctor, but this forum is very useful too.

Thank you.

Neil

Pemgarda being a monoclonal antibody protective against COVID-19, so I don't see how there could be any reason to stop taking Calquence. There's no need to stop IgG replacement therapy while in any CLL treatment :)

I’m on Venclexta and had 2 doses of Pemgarda without stopping Venclexta.

I was told it is not yet available on the West Coast.

Seems the information you received is incorrect since I am getting it Monday at the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Berkeley on Monday afternoon.

Good to know. I was told today the closest place is Denver.
