Hi there. I'm new. My story is I finished O and V last year..2023. I experienced lots of diarrhoea while on treatment. I had Astrovirus for a period of time which was awful...so much diarrhoea. I had tests done and they found my pancreas isn't functioning properly..EPI. So I'm currently on Creon to help with digesting food as I still have diarreah episodes. Now I'm having monthly infusions of Avig...as my immune system is pretty poorly. Anyone else having issues similar. TIA. Julie

Hello Julie, I don't have experience with OV treatment but I do have experience with EPI and low IgG. As long as I take a Creon capsule with any food that I eat I can avoid diarrhea. Before taking Creon my weight had dropped to 100lb/45kg and diarrhea was constant. Also before starting IVIG I was plagued by respiratory infections. I started with monthly infusions, but now am getting along fine with 6 wk infusions.

I can very much relate to your experience. I have had IBS D for a long time. I also have diverticulitis. I had these problems even before CLL. I was treated with O and V. The V caused the diarrhea to become so severe it affects the quality of my life. I was then diagnosed with SIBO. Yesterday I had my first IVHG treatment. My BP dropped 80 points. The infusion was stopped. I was given meds. ,then completed the infusion. I feel great today. Looking forward to better days.
