hu CAR-T 19 IL-18 TRIAL 14 DAY BMB REPORT AND DR. VISIT DAY 21

I knew it was coming, a going away gift for being such a great patient. A BMB is ordered at day 14 of this clinical trial, groggy from 1mg of atavan earlier that morning, I am not even going to make jokes about it. This is a necessary test to see what is going on with the infusion of my new armored piercing and thermal nuclear T-Cells. When Dr. Svoboda walked into the exam room this afternoon he had a big smile on his face, he quickly told us that there are NO CLL cells in the marrow or blood. SHOCK and DISBELIEF to say the least, he said this was one of the fastest responses they have had on the study, 14 days. I am still going to do a post on my hospital stay, but right now, even I have nothing left to say.

Thanks so much # 3. We both know this was no stroll in the park, but the results so far have been rewarding. How are things with you.

Totally agree…the results are worth the difficult journey! I am doing well. I have some GI issues that I never had before that are intermittent but started right after CAR-T. They just stopped the antifungals and antibiotics so hopefully GI symptoms will resolve. But otherwise, I can’t complain #5. I am so grateful we both were given this opportunity to finally achieve remission. Sending only positive thoughts and best wishes to you.

My stomach is still jacked a bit too. It was really in knots after yesterday's news. My ANC is .9 so I am being overly cautious about wearing my mask.

nvp815 in reply to steve5441

I do the same as far as masking! My ANC fluctuates as well. Eventually hoping it stabilizes. In the meantime, I don’t leave the house without a mask. Stay well and be kind to yourself as you regain your strength. 💕💕

Amazing. Did this wipe out only the CLL or the healthy b cells too?

A bit of healthy cells, but they are improving.
