Hi

I had 4 treatments with Rituxan. All but the first were well tolerated. During the first treatment I experienced intense itching starting at the right temple area and moving around the back of my head to the left temple area. This lasted about an hour. It then reversed course and moved back to the right side lasting 45 minutes. No other side effects. Best regards and wishes!

First dates are generally the roughest. I recall having rigors and the nurse pausing the infusion for about an hour and giving me another dose of Benadryl. Since that day, I have had the pleasure of another 30 infusions, and moving eventually to the shot with no additional side effects. Best wishes
