Thank you, again, to everyone who responded to my earlier posts. A second blood count, only days later, showed the neuts had gone up from 0.1 to 0.6, and two weeks after that they had returned to normal at 4.7. At no point did the haematologist seem concerned, or mention neutropenia although the CLL nurse did warn me to go straight to A and E if I got any kind of infection. The haematologist was of the view that the drop in neutrophils was most likely due to the flu-like infection I had that did the rounds in January. Some people treated it like a virus, others - like my GP - thought it was probably bacterial and gave me antibiotics.
So all good, fingers crossed.

Glad you're back to normal in the neutrophils. Not in the same ball park as you but a few years ago I had neuts of 1.4 and 3 weeks later they were 6.6!
