can anyone enlighten me on the current status of CAR-T availability for CLL patients in Australia?
I’m aware it wasn’t available for CLL after a small trial a couple of years ago but is being used for other types of Blood Cancers. Thank you

Hi Billarina
I found two trials listed on clinicaltrials.gov that are relevant to your request and listed as 'recruiting'.
One is the Phase I, CD-19 specific, YTB323 CAR-T + Ibrutinib (for CLL) trial that's being offered by Novartis but no site-specific Australian contact details are provided in the listing for it. However, the postcodes for the two Australian Novartis sites that are listed are 3000 and 3004 so I'm guessing that probably means it's being sponsored by Novartis at Peter Mac and The Alfred.
As there are only 110 places available internationally, before making any inquiries, you should check the eligibility/exclusion criteria in the trial listing to make sure you might be considered.
If you're eligible, perhaps you could contact Novartis on the +41613241111 number provided in the listing to find out more. You could also consider emailing Novartis using the email address provided in the clinicaltrials.gov listing. Quote the NCT number in your email subject line to increase its chances of getting to the right person.

The other trial you might be interested in is a CAR-NK trial which is listed at Royal Prince Alfred in Sydney, St Vincent's Sydney, Royal Brisbane and Peter Mac in Melbourne. Contact details for those sites are provided in the listing. Don't forget to check the eligibility/exclusion criteria first.
