The gym is the motivation! Take lots of aminos and power blended drinks with lots of protein and greens! Gotta keep your muscles strong for this wait and see CLL! Walk and Weight lifting 🏋️‍♀️ is the only way to keep strong!

Not really. Don't take any manu(re)factured expensive amino junk unless you are 30 , healthy and training for Mr. Olympia. Eat your grass fed meat and free range eggs. That's all the amino you need. Exercise according to age and health status. Keep moving but avoid injuries. Talk to a trainer if you never exercised and want to start at an advanced age. Common sense beats heavy weights 😁

I’d support Leo’s advice on this. Exercise isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ especially for CLL’ers of differing ages, co-morbidities and physical ability. I have spinal stenosis and weight lifting and excessive walking would actually be dangerous for my spine.

I’d never advocate amino powders or power blended drinks either as the accepted norm. Doing as much exercise as the individual body can manage and eating more ‘cleanly’ has to be better advice. Definitely greens and lower carbohydrate but with a moderate sprinkling of indulgence is good for the body and the mental health. Unless you’re an athlete in training of course or a 6 pack is your priority! 😉

Well I think we can all agree exercise and strength training are worthwhile. Individual diets and supplementation are tad more controversial and lack consensus. There is definitely no one size fits all. Stay active. Eat well and enjoy life. Tony
