This gift will enable Fred Hutch to recruit about 36 new researchers from a variety of scientific areas, including early- and mid-career researchers and senior scientists. The funding includes resources for lab space, equipment, and technology for Fred Hutch’s collaborative research environment.

I think that David Maloney, MD, PhD is currently the only CLL “specialist” at the Hutch, so they may well be recruiting other CLL specialists. Good for research, but not so good for us if they recruit “our” specialists.  Actually it was Jmiah717 's post that made me think about this news release from the Hutch.
