Thank you for sharing your life experiences.

I really want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences with me. It really made me realize how serious my condition has become and how fast it can happen. I had to face up to the fact that the time has come that I have to do something. I have been on the phone with doctors today and I do start my treatments next week. I am going into them with information from actual people who have been there and for this I am truly grateful.

So glad you've decided to go ahead with treatment Bluegillking, and will start next week. Great to know that people on this site helped you make that decision. Sharing our personal experiences is what we're here for ( well one of the things we're here for).

Wishing you all the best for your treatments next week

You will do just fine…no denying it is a giant and scary step to be taking but I am proud of you for moving on with what is best for you. I know what you are going thru and I know first hand this is tough. I am currently on my third line of treatment and have had CLL for 33+ years that I know of and I have never been better!!! You just hang on tight and you will get this initial issue behind you and you will get on with your life. Please stay in touch with our community!!! All only the very very best to you!

Good luck to you. AIHA can be kind of scary if your hemoglobin falls much below 10. From all I have read, they usually are able to successfully treat AIHA. Once they get it under control, the long term solution is often treating the underlying cll that causes the anemia. These days that can be as simple as an oral pill a day.

Hello Bluegillking

Sounds like a very good plan. "Don't have treatment too soon as each remission gets shorter and shorter, but don't wait too long as it can be long hard road back".
