I am in the UK. I was diagnosed with CLL last October and am on WW. I had my 6 month blood work done and I was told the the B lymphocytes reduced from 8 to 5. Has anyone had that? What does that mean?

Level of B lymphocytes
Hi vocals. My levels also went up and down. The key is the trend more than a single number. After 6 years since diagnosis they're still bouncing around - sometimes up and sometimes down.
Your numbers are low - I am assuming your are talking about your Lymphocyte count.
They do fluctuate - responding to various stimuli.
As stated above - the TREND over time, and the DOUBLING time is whats important.
Jig
Numbers can fluctuate a little due to minor infections, allergies, trauma (like a scrape or cut finger), or even exercise.
Until your Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC) level goes over 30, small increases and decreases like that aren't considered a concern. You may have a very indolent CLL. You may be one of the lucky ones that never requires treatment.
Hello Vocals
My blood counts never reduced, always went up, but I had very aggressive CLL and suspect I was an exception. Blessings.
What did you do to make them go down?🙂. It might not mean much but better down than up! One more drop like that and you're back to good health 🤞
Thank you. I am looking after my diet and exercise. Let’s hope it stays like that 🤞
