Hi 313313

I had to look up the specifics, and thought that I had every possible node swell at one time or another, but it appears that I did not.

I did have swollen 2: Submandibular lymph nodes
3: Supraclavicular lymph nodes
4: Retropharyngeal lymph nodes

I had parotid node swelling before treatment. In fact, my GP orders a CT scan, which verified this. Some days more swollen than others. Disappeared after I started ibrutinib
Your Parotid gland ( salivary Gland ) is not a lymph node. I get that swelling often when I eat certain foods. It swells from a stone blocking the saliva. I had a swelling at my last appointment with my CLL Dr and he said he gets them often as well. I went to an ENT 10 years ago and he told me to rub my jawline where the swelling is for 5-10 min and will go away. I do that and it goes away. I’ve had this for at least the last 10 years.

I had a parotid tumor which caused hard swelling. It did not come and go - it was always there. Finally had it removed to make sure it was cancerous.
Both of mine were enlarged mainly visible just to myself and specialist , one side larger than the other. Once I received treatment they went away.
Yes, I had swelling in my parotid gland. I had to get it biopsied to make sure it was CLL and not anything worse. It went away with treatment.
