Medication donation

Hi, just along shot but had a thought with some people about to take medication and have to self fund completely, one been myself because of where we live. I thought if there was leftover medication that was not taken and not expired that it could be donated to those that need to pay for it. There must be a lot of wastage out there on expensive medication that could be given to those that can’t afford it. Just a thought, would like to hear what others think of this ?

It's illegal to donate prescription drugs in most countries, but I haven't been able to find the legal situation in New Zealand. I suggest you ask a pharmacist. There may be a charity where you can donate unused drugs - that's the case in the USA.

Yes I completely agree. In fact I have a completely unopened months supply of Imbruvica. I'm allergic to it. Had some strange and rare skin reactions. I'd be happy to send it to whoever would like it.Pat
