Is a glass of wine okay with imbruvica

Hi Ashley222,-

A quick check of various websites seems to mention avoiding alcohol if you have side effects like diarrhea. My CLL expert doctor says "all things in moderation"

The official website imbruvica.com/cll/side-effects only mentions alcohol in one area advising how to reduce side effects of diarrhea

Tips to help with diarrhea2:

Stay hydrated. Drink fluids such as water, decaffeinated tea, and clear broth

Eat small meals often, and avoid very hot or spicy foods

Avoid greasy foods, bran, raw fruits and vegetables, and caffeine

Avoid alcohol and drinks with caffeine

Can you drink alcohol when taking Imbruvica?
