Itchy skin

I have been in remission for a couple of years still very tired and getting the sweats but now I have periods where I get really itchy skin , usually on my face an my arm pits is it just me or anyone else getting similar symptoms?

I also have been in remission for a couple of years and started having itchy skin spots/bumps over the past month or two. Tried antifungal ointment and now zinc soap followed by Benadryl ointment. The old spots persist and a few new ones have popped all over my arms and legs. I am scheduled for dermatologist next week.

The NIH has several papers suggesting that CLL itself leads to skin issues, as noted here:

SNIP: "Cutaneous lesions occur in up to 25% of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). These can be caused by either cutaneous seeding by leukemic cells (leukemia cutis, LC) and other malignant diseases or nonmalignant disorders. Skin infiltration with B-lymphocyte CLL manifests as solitary, grouped, or generalized papules, plaques, nodules, or large tumors.....The most common secondary cutaneous changes seen in CLL are those of infectious or hemorrhagic origin. Other secondary lesions present as vasculitis, purpura, generalized pruritus, exfoliative erythroderma, and paraneoplastic pemphigus. An exaggerated reaction to an insect bite and insect bite-like reactions have been also observed".

I suggest you have a good cancer oriented dermatologist do a full body inspection of your skin every 6 months (we get skin cancer at 5x to 8x more often than non-CLL people- and the only way to detect it early is get an expert examination) and helping treat your sores will be part of that care.

as of December 2021 I have been in remission for one year. I still have crushing fatigue on some days. On those days I sleep almost continuously it goes on for a couple of days and then I'm all right. It is a cycle or so it seems to be and hits me every ten days or so. I just would have go with it since I have no choice. On those days I sleep almost all day and then sleep at night as well. I also have hot flashes and recently I've gained weight even though there's no change in diet??

Most of the time I just give up when it comes to trying to figure out what it is.? I don't know I just go with the flow as best I can try to keep a positive attitude. Depression and anxiety are also in the picture as usual. I see my oncologist every 3 months for blood work and so far very good. Just a lot of fatigue depression anxiety could be worse I guess?
