Hi every one! I don’t know if I ask this question before !

Does anybody knows if we CLLers can b near baby’s that had there Live Vaccine?

My Grandbaby is getting them soon she is 11 month old and I take care of her..

Hi, my grandson had the chicken pox vaccine. He was around 6 years. He had to stay away from me for 2 weeks. Are there many live vaccines? I know childrens flu vaccine is a nasal spray.It is something you need to ask your consultant about rather than your GP. They will know about your immunity. I didnt realise the vaccines were live. I'd ask my doctor. It probably depends from what kind of vaccine it is.

she is getting Measles Mumps,rubella,varicella,hepatitis thank you

My amateur take is that if you have all those vaccinations and they are once in a lifetime vaccines, you should be safe - but pls check with your doc. I'm afraid hepatitis needs to be boosted from time to time, like every ten years if I remember correctly. That could be a problem if yours is expired or you got it when already having CLL. But I may be wrong.

If it was a flu nasal spray then it’s 2 weeks.

My grandson has a flu vaccine rather than the nasal spray and I think there's one other live vaccine, can't remember which one, might be chicken pox, but I was told no contact for a period of time. Take care

I wouldn't like to say for definite so I would check, if any is live vaccine then I think the gap before you can see them is 2 weeks but please check. Better to be safe. Good luck

Definately chicken pox. The nhs werent doing that. My daughter paid privately and 2 weeks away from me.
