Hi All Anyone had and issues with liver bloods when on O&V treatment

My partner had his last obinutuzumab treatment today but his bloodwork showed a spike in his liver count , first time this has happened, he was poorly from his 3rd covid vaccine last week and ended up in hospital few days and was prescribed extra antibiotics for home, just wondering if anyone had this issue before thanks

You haven't shared which test is elevated or the reading and the lab reference range, so it's not possible comment on the degree of appropriate concern associated with what's happening. There are lots of potentially influencing factors behind raised liver test counts, including the antibiotics (which?), along with what other support/prophylactic drugs your partner is on, not to forget any other supplements he may be taking, nutrition, drinking history, BMI etc. This is certainly something to monitor and bring to the attention of his specialist if continues to worsen, but could be inconsequential if the test result is within the reference range, particularly if it is lower next blood test.

My ALT and AST levels were elevated for a couple of months during my Obinutuzumab treatments. They returned to normal before I finished treatment and have been fine since.

Thank you my partner still got his last obinutuzumab on Thursday even though levels had spiked , he had been hospitlized the week before after 3rd covid vaccine so had been on more antibiotics which may also be why either way still got treatment and is going to get liver scanned just as a precaution
