Hello. Yes! I was treated starting in April 2020 on Venetoclax. The insurance refused it after I had already started my infusions of Gazyva. Lovely insurance companies. The pharmacist at UCSD got in contact with Genetech and Medvantics, had me fill out some paperwork, and I got one year supply free, delivered to my door once a month.I took my last pills on May 1 and am uMRD.
Good luck.
Did they offer you more?
I only needed 1 year. But was told if I needed to continue, they would extend the prescription. I was pleased to get 12 months free.
Hi 581959,-
I have been getting Venetoclax from Genentech Access to Care at no cost every month since June 2016. The first FDA approval was in April 2016, so only a few patients could be on it before me.

I have heard of several others that also had insurance coverage refused so they qualified.

E-Lynn may have started with that program / benefit about the same time I did.

Genentech will send it to you at no charge. They sent it to me when I was on it. One page form. Very fast service.
I also am getting Venetoclax free. My part D pays for 2/3 and I got a grant for the rest. Publix pharmacy did all the paperwork with just a couple of questions for me.
