I saw someone mention about their concern on submitting driver's license or passport information online to Ciitizen, the organization that is coordinating the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society study on CLL patients and antibodies to the vaccine. I went ahead and applied and had my first blood test through LabCore and had good results. I have antibodies. However, I am nervous about submitting personal information online . Can those of you who are participating share your experience with supplying personal information? Thanks........Pat

I haven’t had a problem yet. They should be credible because they are working with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ® (LLS). They are the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.....so I am scheduled for my blood work at LabCorp Monday.

I signed up knowing it was a legitimate organization. The Ciitizen name threw me off at first but realized it was connected to the site & study.

I don’t really understand the concerns as EVER TIME I go to a doctors office all the same information go through so many clerks hands

I went to Orthopaedics this week and had to give them info over the phone and then check in on iPad and there was a LOT of information populated that they pulled up from my cards

Every file online is at risk for being stolen, but medical files are usually carefully protected and encrypted. I personally wouldn't worry.

Was also hesitant, but trust LLS. Received notice yesterday that Citizen received records from my cancer center. Almost 1000 pages!! Confused though, that Citizen still has not posted my Lab Corp results on the vaccine which I had done at the end of March. I was able to get the results from Lab Corp in about three days. Unfortunately nergative for antibodies.

Thanks for all your supportive responses. I called Ciitizen and they made me feel very confident with their online security. I went ahead and sent in my information.
