Hi, everyone. I've been lurking around for a while and thought I'd introduce myself. I am Jeremy. I am almost 40 and I've had CLL for the last 14 years or so. Still on WW but that's likely to change soon. I hope anyway. I'm unmutated but my markers other than that are pretty unremarkable. And, as you can see, I've enjoyed a long period of time with no treatment. I'd say no symptoms but about 2-3 years ago I started having some issues. Anyway I hope all is well and thanks for letting me say hi.

Wow Jeremy, you have had a really long w&w, great to hear CLL didn't effect you too much during the w&w period.
I'm 40 and have known about my CLL for nearly two years but I did have it before, just didn't know. I was diagnosed during my third pregnancy - not the type of thing you are expecting to hear when you turn up for your midwife appointment...
What issues have you been having if you don't mind me asking? The usual symptoms?
Do you know what type of treatment you are likely to have since you have mentioned it?
Basically just a bunch of random issues that my CLL doc is not sure is related but I'm not convinced. I will likely get Venetoclax in some combo. My counts are not there yet I guess. Even though my symptoms have been issues for me (lymphs, spleen, fatigue, etc).
Hi Jeremy, and welcome. You are in the right place to pose questions and get good, sensible answers, and questions are helpful to others, as well.Chrisx
Hi Jeremy, and welcome to the group no one wants to be in but since we are all here we try to make the best of. 😊. You definitely have found the right place to ask questions or just listen to others stories as so many have different experiences. It is nice to be able to come and chat with people who understand and "get it" when no one seems to, at least it is for me. W&W for 14 years is wonderful, I hope when you need to start treatment it will be just as successful!
Hi J-717 - Welcome to HU! A good place to learn n lots of supporting smart folks are here.
So 14 yrs on W&W (but sorry to hear that streak maybe ending) ... 14 years is awesome , what’s your secret success to that? I’m 8 months on the W&W train and on a self-study to see if having 1 good IPA 🍺 a day will help my CLL numbers? Doubtful it’ll help CLL but what heck I’m enjoying that study.
