Hi Greg
Relax you have not jumped off a cliff into a dark abyss. Your prognosis for achieving complete remission when your watch and wait period turns to treatment is very good. You don’t start treatment early on because historically the treatments were worse than your symptoms. You just need to get a good health care plan for future expenses and then starting living the life you always wanted but never got around to doing.
If you haven’t already stopped drinking alcohol I would for no other reason than it will start to be more of sedative than a way to relax or socialize. Most everything that is supposed to promote your healthy lifestyle you should try and incorporate into yours. Kale is optional but vegetables and optimism are required daily.
It has been six years since I was diagnosed will CLL. I lite up like a Christmas tree from my neck to my groin with my CT scan my fish was not at all optimistic. Yet I sit with another 20-30 years left even though I haven’t achieved full remission. Drink plenty of plain water every day. I am six and 200 lbs and drink a gallon a day along with coffee, tea, milk and juices. Keep your pipes clean and the furnace works better. I worry about driving through intersections and if it will rain soon.
