Paracardial effusion.

I have had fluid in the sac for at least 2 years. Has anyone had this related to CLL?

showdog, So sorry you are having this problem. The following posts in this link will give you information about other's who have had related experience. Some of these members may be on later to respond, but in the meantime, you have some possible reading.

Best wishes for your Cardiologist visit, and congratulations of getting an MD Anderson specialist in your corner. It is possible that infiltration of CLL is involved.

Hi showdog - yes I had it following 6 mts of chlorambucil and obutuzumab. It was diagnosed by cardiologist during routine followup for AF; 1cm 'thickness' it appears. Anyway, after another 6 months it vanished without any intervention at all. Hope yours does too. There was no indication by the cardiologist that it had been caused by the C&O treatment, but I think it must have been as I had loads of other temporary issues during and after treatment.
