My new MD Anderson Doc

I just talked to my new doc. What a thrill to have a specialist. He said I am low risk with just 13q deletion. I kind of new this but other doctors never said it that way. How ever my platelets have been hovering at 100,000 but recently have dropped to lower 80's . He wants to check one more time to make sure they haven't gone back up. I have fluid around my heart called parscardium effusion so he wants me to see the cardiologist before treatment. He is not sure if its related to cll. I more comfortable now that I have a specialists. Its helped me alot over past 2 years being on cll society.

I am 13q mutated and had 3 rounds of FCR. Very uneventful and in remission 2+ years. Since you have heart issues, be careful if they suggest Ibrutinib.

Always good to get second opinion. 💕

Was there any discussions concerning other treatments like V+O ? I'm beginning to think there is a preference depending on the facility.

We discussed all treatments. We decided to go with what zi chose because of current lifestyle and a health issue. I run a business and can't afford to be down from a trial drug. I am avoiding some of the unknown
