Welcome wnrtakeall,

Are you interested in the evidence behind Far Infrared as a potential treatment for CLL or concerned about what dangers it might cause if you have a far infrared session?

This paper examines far infrared's use for some cancer treatments. Note that these are solid cancers and the infrared is used in conjunction with drugs targeting the cancer cells: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

This Mayo Clinic article discusses the evidence for the claimed health benefits: mayoclinic.org/healthy-life...

CLL cells are more fragile than healthy B-cells, which is why it is fairly common to see a note "Smudge cells present" on our blood test results. They are also dormant in our blood, but multiply in our nodes, spleen and bone marrow. If the far infrared radiation killed off any CLL cells in the blood just under our skin, any improvement in our blood lymphocyte count would be temporarily, with the CLL cells replaced from those duplicating internally, where the infrared radiation would not reach.

Any effects on the ALC count? I wish there was a way to filter out or kill off the monoclonal B cells only. That discovery would deserve the Nobel Prize.

What is this exactly? I have trouble sleeping and skin issues as well. May I ask how you found out about this? Where do you buy one?

I am in the beauty groups and they recommended it for skin issues, like dull dry skin, spots acne etc. When I went further I noticed more than that. More health issues. Insomnia was one of them.

I bought it from Alternative Red. Canadian company. They do 30% off sales regularly.

International shipment is free. I live in the UK.

And I bought full body LED.

I'm thinking of putting in a home sauna and want to make sure the FAR infra red won't aggravate anything. Should have been a little more specific in my post. Sorry.
