Treatment for CLL from NEJM
I can’t get access unfortunately which is a pity because I’m sure it’s good.

Can't get access only brief description
Tried, but unable to access.
Sorry everyone but it appears you have to have a subscription to NEJM to open. I put it in a word document and will try to repost with that
Hi Jdolinger
I think the article you are trying to share might be the one I shared in this post:

I couldn't see anything there either but thanks for trying

Jackie - working sci-hub portal moves around and may vary depending on your location. To use the site, search "sci-hub", pick one of the search results, copy the doi # and any and all restricted access papers will come up as downloadable PDFs. I've never had it fail me yet and I have used it 100s of times. (Hint: if you get an error message, the referenced article is already open access.)
BTW, this is a very good review article of all current treatments and is a useful read for all patients/caregivers. Good Luck - Be Safe/ Stay Well
I have the PDF saved if you want a copy.
Yes this is the article. Thanks for the assistance. Long read but well worth it.
Thanks! While highly technical, the tables are quite revealing, especially the Complete Remission and Survival Rates.
If I read it right, the median patient is 72 years old and most likely male.

Registration with NEJM entitles you to read 3 published articles per month. Beyond that you need to take out a subscription, or pay per paper. You can download a pdf too (I pdf'd the Jan Burger paper but haven't had time to read it yet).
To its credit, NEJM has made articles about Covid available on free access.
Can someone please tell me what was the take on this article? For me it was too much and too complicated😳.
Hi Sushibruno,
You'll find a brief summary and some comments that give you an idea of what the article is about here:
healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...
Basically, it's a review of the different ways CLL is treated, looking over the past 10 years and the challenges that are still being addressed by ongoing and future research.
