I think this is inevitable.
However, there remains a cohort of patients who do very well with FCR and I guess its this standard that remains the test against which novel agents are measured.
Further - FCR means no pills on completion of the course (Apart from Co-trimox and Aciclovir while Lymphs < 1.0)
There is treatment related morbidity and mortality to factor in to a FCR treatment choice.
I was reminded that novel agents do also have side effects, when I was steered to FCR.
But that was 2018!
Would I be offered the same now?
