When you say 'iron' is normal do you mean hemoglobin levels and red blood cell counts are normal?

anemia is defined by your hemoglobin level (and red blood cells). If it's below normal, then you are anemic. Possible to have fatigue with CLL without being anemic. Anemia also produces shortness of breath in most people. Fatigue may not.

Lots of causes of anemia in CLL unrelated to iron stores. Lots of causes for fatigue in CLL. I have written on this on CLLSociety.org. Fatigue is fatigue. Anemia is anemia, a low red blood count. It may or may or not cause fatigue. I would not conflate anemia and fatigue. Hope that helps. Brian CLLSociety.org

I've been on ibrutinib for 5+ years. I have responded well and with ibrutinib that means that the CLL is under control. I do have fatigue but whether it is due to the ibrutinib or the CLL or being 71 is a toss-up. Usually, it means resting during the day & sometimes a nap. I can get out & ride the mower or do an hour or so of weed-eating or walk a 1/2 mile but rest is needed afterwards.
